Project: Maryland Institute College of Art Senior Show 2006
Client: MICA Graphic Design Department
Concept and production: Robert Genalo, Michael Ciancio, Jennifer Bagheri, Lauren Richel, Gina Romano
Typeface design: Robert Genalo
Description: Upon graduation, it became increasingly clear that designers usually play two roles in their fields. They can choose to
go in a more corporate direction with little creative freedom, or choose the opposite path in which the designer becomes their own
boss.
Based around this concept of the duality of the designer, a "plus/minus" motif was created in all aspects of the show. Two pieces
of plywood - one rotating, frequently alternating between a plus sign and a minus sign.
